We miss Daddy!

Daddy left Sunday to go to Billings, MT. Me, Mommy and Peanut miss him a bunch! We can't wait for Friday when he comes home. We did figure out how to get Mommy to clean up around here. Put Daddy on a plane headed into a winter storm. It was either worry, cry or clean. So she did all three. All of the closets are now orgainized and the furniture in my room has been moved three times. Hopefully the weather is better when Daddy comes home.

Daddy got all of my toys (swings, bouncer, stroller..) put together. Peanut is leary of a few of them, mainly the ones that move or make noise! Now all they have to do is wait for me to come. 6 1/2 weeks, it won't be long now!

A shower for Me!

Saturday was my baby shower and I had such a good time. I was able to meet so many friends and get so many presents. Mommy (and Me) wants to Thank everyone who came and thank everyone for all of the gifts. Some had very far to drive and we were so glad to see all of you. We also want to thank everyone who helped put on the shower. It was beautiful and we know how much work you put into decorating, preparing food, and cleaning up. We are very blessed to have all of you in our lives.

For those of you wondering how many wipes we got, the number of packs is 31 and the total wipes is approximately 2,950. I should be set for a few months.

My room is coming together nicely. We have the carpet and the bed and changing table up. Now it is packed with all the goodies I got, but we will give you pictures soon, I promise.

Drs. Appt

Friday, Mommy, Nana Meche and Aunt Nikki came with me to the Doctor for my ultrasound and boy did they get a big surprise. The technician took a 4-D picture of me, so here is an idea of what I look like.

Pretty neat, huh. According to my measurements, I weigh approx. 4lbs. and 12 oz., and according to the average, I should be about 4 lbs., so I am a very healthy baby. I am in the 84 percentile in size already, and I still have about 8 weeks to go!! We did find out that one of my kidneys is larger than average, but all we are going to do is let my peditrician know that he needs to monitor it once I am born. Nothing too serious.

Things are getting pretty crowded in here these days, so Mommy feels me move all the time and some people are now able to see me move!

Bella's Baptism

Well, the last two weeks have been quite busy! First, Marie spent the week with us, I can't wait for her to babysit me! Then, Friday we left for Boston. We got to meet cousin Bella and we all fell in love with her. Mommy keeps going on and on about how good she was and keeps telling me to take notes so that I am that good when I am born. I just hope she remembers who my Daddy is and that he cried for the first 6 months of his life!

Saturday we went to Bella's baptism and Aunt Steph had a reception for everyone afterwards. Then we spent the day at Bellas house. Saturday night we went eat and Me and Mommy both experienced our first subway ride. It was interesting to say the least. Mommy has a new appreciation for her truck!

We headed back home on Sunday morning, right before a big snow storm hit Boston. We did get to see snow while we were at the airport. I was a little nervous on the take off and landing, so I let Mommy know by kicking her the whole time. The flights were a little rough at times and Mommy learned that she still gets motion sickness (she thought she was having flashbacks to her first trimester!)

She says that I am the reason she has grown so much but I think it has a little to do with the cheesy tater tots from Sonic and the McFlurry's from McDonalds that she has been eating! I guess the whole house will be back on Weight Watchers once I'm born, sorry Daddy.

Daddy and Grandpa Earl have been busy painting my room. All the painting is done and they even hung my shelves and ceiling fan. Once the new carpet comes in we will put my furniture in. Mommy will show everyone once it's ready.
