We want to congratulate Mr. Scott and Mrs. Ashley on their new baby Cade Phillip. I can't wait to play with him.

1 Week Old
One week already. I am doing Ok, trying to adjust to this outside place. I am getting the basics of life down, sleeping, eating and pooping. I am best at the last one! Mommy and Daddy are learning that sleep is really not necessary to function. Peanut is trying to figure out what is going on and why he doesn't get all the attention any more. Nana Meche is staying over for a while and we are all so grateful. Anyway, here are some pics to let everyone see how cute I am. Most people say I look more like my Daddy, Mommy says she loves me anyway.

Me getting ready for first Doctors visit, I'm not too excited.

We are HOME!
We finally made it home yesterday. We are all trying to adjust and figure everything out, but it looks like we will be fine. Here are some pictures that Daddy took at the hospital.

I'm a Big Baby Boy!
Hello my name is Weston Joseph Millard. Born at 1:40PM on 5/21/09 weighing 9 pounds 3.4 ounces. My momma is doing great for packing me around for so long. Dad seems to be kind of nervous. Just wait daddy I'm sure I'll make you nervous a few more times in the next 2o years. Thanks for all the prayers and cool gifts.

Place your bets!
Will I be Sydney Marie or Weston Joseph?? According to the polls, 23 people think I will be a boy and 12 think I will be a girl. I wonder how much money is riding on this?? We will find out soon enough.
We went to our last Doctors visit today. Mommy is now around 2 cm dilated and ready to deliver at any time! If nothing happens between now and then, we will go in at 5 am on Thursday and they will begin inducing. I think she has the countdown in hours now. We will try to teach Daddy how to post pictures on the blog so everyone can see me sooner, but we are not making any promises! See you soon-

Light at the end of the Tunnel!
We went to the Doctor today. Mommy is dilated a little over 1 cm. Not much change from last week. But there is good news, if I have not made my debut by May 21st, they are going to induce. Nothing is wrong, the doctor offered and Mommy jumped on it. So that means, at most, 9 more days of relaxing and eating crawfish, pizza and all the good food I have been getting! I'm a little sad, but Mommy is very excited. So if nothing changes between now and then, I will see everyone on May 21st. I can't wait to meet all of you.

Still not there!
Just in case anyone was wondering, I am still not ready to come out. Mommy is really trying hard to get me out, she walks almost every day, eats crawfish and anything spicy but nothing is working. It's kinda cozy and stress free in here, so I'll stay a little while longer.
An update on Mommy: she is 1 cm dilated for the second week in a row. Last week we gave daddy a test drill, Mommy had Braxton Hicks contractions (fake one's) for a few hours but they went away. Daddy did good, I think we should make it to the hospital with no problems when the real contractions start.
That's about it, we will let you know when something changes.
