I went meet my buddy Cade at the Library Saturday for "Saturday Morning Fun", which is a bunch of 0-2 year olds singing songs and reading stories. It was pretty fun, Here is my first craft project, well it's really mommy's, I just wanted to eat the orange underneath the paper towel.


Daddy thinks I will be a mechanic when I get older. I turn all of my toys with wheels upside down and play with them that way.

Mommy calls this picture "Where's Waldo". I am the one in the green and brown stripes in the middle of the toy jungle. I don't know where we are going to fit a baby.....

I am becoming quite the climber...

About Me

Here a few interesting facts about me at one years old:

I have 2 bottom teeth, four top teeth. I weigh about 25 lbs, and I am 29.5" tall. Mommy says I have my Daddy's patients (none), If I am awakened before I am ready (peanut barking), I am grouchy like my Mom. Most of my facial expressions are like my Mom's. I sleep all night, and I rarely fight to take naps. I can walk and get up without any help. I like to throw fits when I don't get what I want. (small ones). I can say, dada, caca, ahhhchew(sneeze), doiky doiky???, deer, (cat, light, hat) all sound the same, clock. I have said something similar to mama, but I was whining? I have blonde hair, blue eyes and look nothing like my daddy???

Happy Birthday to Me!

Friday was my birthday! And also the first day I ever ran a fever :( - We think I'm teething. It was low grade and I played just fine, but I have lost my appetite.

Friday we worked hard and got everything ready for my party. Saturday, we had a great time with friends and family, and I got sooooo many toys. Thanks everyone for coming and thanks for all the great gifts. Thanks to everyone that helped Mommy, she really appreciated it!!

Finally warm enough to set up pool! Still trying to convince Pawpaw E to get a big one for me!!

This is fun even without water

I love eating sticks.. Mommy has given up on fussing at me, so now I can chew on them in peace!

Me and Daddy's first pick of the year.. That's a big cucumber!! Mommy says that besides me, this is daddy's proudest moment! (Just so you know, It's Sunday afternoon and Mommy says I don't have to wear clothes if I don't want to!)

My first birthday present... It is AWESOME.. for me and Mommy, it entertains me for a while..

Birthday Week!!

If I would have known that turning one was this much fun, I would have done it a long time ago!!

Mommy let me face forward in my car seat, which is great, I get to see everything. Mommy turns around a lot and makes faces at me while she's driving. I think it's hilarious, but I'm not sure if it's too safe! I guess she knows what she's doing??? I also get to drink this yummy goodness called whole milk. Mommy says this will save a lot of money (for 1.5 months at least).

I have also gotten toys delivered to the front door, and it's not even my birthday yet! Thanks Bella! I love the water table!



Ok, enough about me for now, my little brother/sister is doing great! I keep checking Mommy's belly button to see if they are there, so far nothing. Plus, I think it's pretty neat, sometimes I get mad if she doesn't show me (in public).

He/she is still growing a kicking like crazy, only 8 weeks left!! We are working on my new room, hopefully we will be done by the time they get here. For anyone wondering, no names have been decided on... I know, I keep telling them time is running out, but they don't listen.

Mommy said that last Sunday was the Best Mother's Day she ever had! I got her flowers, a card, and a braclet. I made her pancakes (well I helped her eat them while Daddy made them, I can't do everything!) and we got take out Chinese for lunch... Don't look at me, that's what she wanted... She didn't have to change any diapers eithers, not that I didn't produce them, but Daddy changed them all. I think she liked this as much as the pearl braclet.. She's pretty easy.
