Eila's Birthday Party

Hey everyone, it's me, Eila.... I know Wes normally talks, but Mommy said that since I am almost a year old, that I can start blogging. I had a great Birthday Party Saturday! We want to thank everyone for coming and for the wonderful gifts! I have been playing with trucks for a year now, the pink dolls are an awesome change!!

Rainy Days

Since Louisiana has been in a drought, we decided to take a vacation to make it rain! We went to a little resort about thirty miles from here and it rained the WHOLE time! We got to swim and get out of the cabin for a total of 3 hours in 3 days!!! Maybe next year. On our way to the cabin, we went to the Children's museum. Here are a few pics from our adventures. We couldn't take many because the camera would have gotten wet!

Let's see, what have we been doing? Last weekend Eila had a little virus so we were stuck in the house. And Daddy had to work on his days off so we had to put up with Mommy all weekend. Eila started taking a few steps this weekend. She should be running in no time. She is also is getting two new teeth on the top! She will practically be grown by the time her birthday comes along... Did I mention that she is turning the big 1 at the end of the month!!! We get to have another party!! I know we are going to wear you guys out with all these awesome 1 and 2 year old parties, but Mommy promises she will try to combine them in the up coming years!
We are having an awsome summer, we get to play with Alyssa when we go to Aunt Trudy's! We get to slip and slide, eat popcicles and just run and play, it is AWESOME!

Washing dishes already?? I love to do this! It's mainly playing in the water on the big chair..
