Atlanta!

We did it! We went to Atlanta to visit Bella. Before we left, Mommy wasn't too sure we would make it, but to her surprise we were great on the road. How in the world did people travel with out DVD players? It just seems unnatural.

We had an awesome time. Bella has sooooo many toys! We went to the big aquarium, we got to play on a train, and we went trick or treating! Our trip was way too short, so we will definately have to go back.

Random Thoughts by Wes

For the last 3 nights I have slept in my bed by myself all night! Mommy and Daddy are pretty excited about this! Next thing Mommy is hoping for is for us to sleep past 5:30 am.... Keep dreaming.

I have become quite difficult when I eat these days. I really don't care to eat anything but fruit snacks. One day I love pizza and the next I cry and pretty much gag when they try to make me eat it. And this happens with almost every food... Mommy gave up on me today and said she doesn't care if I eat.. I wonder if she is serious??? On a side note, I do very well in restaurants and don't mind eating there... shouldn't Mommy take the hint about her cooking??? I've been sending a really strong signal, guess it takes her a while...

She also told me I was "Working on her last nerve".... I don't really know what this means, but if I am "working" so much shouldn't I get paid??? And what happens when I work off the last nerve?? I'll keep "working" and let you know how it turns out!

Eila on the other hand is eating quite well. Sometimes we wonder where all of it goes? Some times we get find out where it goes because if she starts crying enough, it all comes out! Just ask our pediatrician..... she threw up before he even gave her a shot... Then this week she obviously didn't want daddy to bath her, so after her bath she cried until she threw up... I really was the golden child that night.

As Promised

Mommy promised that she would post pictures from this weekend, so here you go....

I love my new cowboy boots! This was after my bath, I had to have them on...

Saturday morning, getting ready to go to the library.... This hair bow has got to go! I'm not a big fan of bows...these on my arms got untied 4 times before we left, finally Mommy had to put them in a knot that I couldn't undo!

I HATE HATE HATE taking pictures.... I act like the lens burns my skin if it is pointed at me.....Mommy says I am slowly moving into what people call 'terrible two's'......

Terrible two's.... it now takes me about 30 minutes to warm up when I go somewhere new.... This is how we started out at the library... Nice.

Eila does not have the same problem... she jumped into the middle of the circle..

I loosened up long when it was time to play memory with the pumpkin cards...

Eila was a trooper and got involved....me not so much!!!

At least I rolled over to see everything..

As usual, at the end, I was all into this library business....

Eila got bored watching me color so she started climbing..

Isn't it lovely?

Boo at the Zoo

Mommy and Daddy took us to Boo at the Zoo Sunday. We were really good, but Mommy says next year we will dress up and go to the zoo on days where there isn't 2000 people and she will buy us candy. That's cool with us!

Eila is so silly...

The cutest witch EVER!

Did I ever tell you how much I HATE taking pictures???

Alyssa came with us... she was a vampire and it took us a few seconds to recognize her!

We took the train ride first

Eila

I have to appologize... Mommy is really being a slacker... She looked at her camera to post something and realized we haven't taken a picture since vacation.... almost a month! Geez, a month of our life missed... I don't know what to do with that woman! We have a full weekend planned, we start with the library tomorrow then Boo at the zoo Sunday. We should have lots of pics for next week.

Eila has found her voice and is trying to repeat everything we say. She has learned her animal sounds... take a look.

Musical Beds

Lately the Millard house is active 24 hours a day...... Here is a typical night at our house..

7:30, bath time then we watch Caillou (my new OBSESSION!)and eat ice cream (sometimes)

8:00 Eila goes to bed

8:45 I go to bed, but Mommy has to lay with me. Normally Mommy falls asleep, and Daddy wakes her up when he goes to bed.

1-3 AM.. I go to Mommy's room (since they are stuck on this "we don't want them to sleep in our bed" rule), Mommy comes back with me to my room until I go to sleep (she normally falls asleep, and an hour or so later she goes back to her room).

Hopefully after that everyone sleeps until 8, but since that NEVER happens, I wake up again around 5, and go back to Mommy's room (NOTE: I always carry my blanket, I used to carry my my pillow and teddy bear too, but I have down sized).

Mommy then walks back with me to my room so her and Daddy could possibly get a few more minutes of sleep..
Then I am up for good around 6:00 (if they are lucky)

When Daddy works nights, the first time I go to their room, she puts me in her bed and we (I) sleep great the rest of the night....

Sometimes when Daddy is home, Mommy will put me in bed on my first trip to their room, and after a few minutes of me sleeping with them, Daddy goes in my room, he says something about me kicking him in the ribs??..(I like this way!)
