What is ????

Here is a typical conversation with me these days:

Mommy: Wes, pick up your clothes

Wes: What is clothes?

Mommy:  It is your shorts and shirt

Wes: What is shorts and shirt?

Mommy:  ahhhhhh!

Needless to say I am a sponge and want to know what everything is..... even though I already know what it is! 

School is going much better.  I only cried on Monday with Mommy and Wednesday when Daddy brought me for the first time... I had to break him in...

Wednesday we started using glue at school, that stuff is awesome!!  I make Mommy pictures everyday, which I love.  She loves them too!  They are all over the fridge... What's a fridge?  ha ha

Mommy is still working on fullfilling all of her promises.. I cut her some slack since she had to go out of town this week for two days. 

Daddy played in a ball tournament Friday night and we had the best time at the ball park. First thing I asked for when I woke up Saturday was to go... Mommy had to stall us until 8:00.  Daddy had to work, but we went support Aunt Kayla... well maybe we went to play on the playground, but the first one sounds better...

Today was a pretty good day.  Mommy ended up bringing me to school and I did cry again, but she didn't go inside, she just brought me to the door and left.  The teacher said I settled down as soon as I got inside and said I was great the rest of the day....

Let's just say the first time I go back to school without crying will be a busy day... Mommy has promised that I can go to the zoo, bookstore, and swimming if I don't cry when she drops me off.  Now, if I just need to focus on not crying...

Mommy got brave and bought us paint!  We loved it, we used all of it in about 30 minutes...

Here is my ball and other things that I drew at school last week.

It appears that Mommy is part owner of this "wittle house" as I call it.  Dad got a new hitch on his truck and we are goint to try and start camping...  Sounds like fun!!

Paw Paw teaching me to drive.... guess it would be easier if I held on to the stearing wheel!

Not so excited.....

So this school business was great the first few days, but I'm not so excited about it anymore.  Friday when Mommy dropped me off, I said I didn't want to go, so she came inside with me for a few minutes to see if I would  change my mind.  And I didn't.  I cried, therefore Mommy cried.  Apparently Mommy cried more than I did.  The teacher said after a few minutes I was playing like nothing ever happened.  Mommy on the other hand cried all the way to work, then anytime she told the story she teared up....  Sorry Mommy, I just wanted to play with you!  Of course it was picture day and lucky me we went first!  The teacher said I was a still little irritated at that time so we will anxiously wait for those to come in!

Mommy is thinking about making Daddy take me tomorrow because I have already started telling her that I want her to stay and play with me at school. 

We will let you know how this week goes... Oh, Eila doesn't seem too affected by me going to school.  She does say every day that she wants to go to school, but she is enjoying everyone's full attention.  She said it's like being an only child.... Oh how I miss those days....

First Day of School!!

What a great Day!!  I loved school!  Mommy is kinda happy, but she said she wished I was a little less eager to grow up!   I woke up, drank my chocolate milk, brushed my teeth, got dressed and kept asking Mommy " can we go to school now?"  When Mommy picked me up, she asked "Are you ready to go?" and I said "No, not yet!"  My teacher said I was great! I napped, I played with new toys, I ate a burger, fries, cookies and gold fish!  It don't get much better than that!!

Eila seemed ok without me.  She had all of Daddy and Grammy's attention today.  I guess she will be fine too!

Here I am actually cooperating with Mommy and the camera, so you know I was excited

 Tried to fit breakfast in before we left.  Note to self "put on uniform AFTER I eat breakfast!"

Eila looks sad, but she was really just mad that Mommy was taking pictures.

Today was my "official" last day at Trudy's.  Don't worry, I will still be there for holidays and sick days but I am moving on to the next phase of my life.... It will be hard knowing that Eila is playing with all my stuff while I am not there.   We are not sure if Eila will love all of the attention or hate being by herself... we will let you know. 

We had a McDonalds for breakfast and pizza party for lunch in my honor.  I don't think the meals and snacks at school will compare.

On another note, I have decided that I want to ride my bike, and I love it.  So now we have to go out every afternoon in the 500 degree weather and ride around the driveway!  Mommy will post a video one day...

Oh, and I love my new fishing game.... Daddy's getting me ready for the real thing, hope it's this easy.

Mommy and Daddy went to my first school meeting tonight.  Mommy said she teared up a few times.  Geeze Mommy, it's only PK-3, I'm not moving out for college....yet.  Any way, looks like I will be having tons of fun and learning lots of new things.  I get to go next Friday for about thirty minutes for an open house to meet my teachers and see my new school.  Then the following Tuesday only boys go ALL DAY, and Wednesday we all go!  I am super excited.   Mommy is worried that Eila will be lonely without me there, I think she will be fine..  Aunt Trudy will have have her running the roads in no time!
