Lake Fausse Point

This weekend we had a great weekend end camping, again! Nanna and Paw Paw took the camper so we shared a cabin with Parrin Scott, Aunt Emily and Eli.  We are natural born campers!

This is the view from our cabin

It rained a few day before we got there, luckily there was still water to play in!

Of course we checked out all of the play grounds!

There was even a water park to play at... except the water wasn't on. It was ok, we still played on it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fishing, which make Mommy and Daddy very happy.  I actually caught a good bit off of our porch.

We went boat riding a few times

It was Paw Paw D's birthday while we were there.

Dad rented a canoe and paddled me down the canal... I dipped for fish while he paddled.  I was actually very good for the whole ride.

Mommy and Eila opted to stay at the cabin and take a nap and eat cheese puffs..
Another boat ride... this one we got to go fast fast on.. (well fast for us anyway).
Eila was being silly with her glasses.

Princess Lunch

Hey, it's Eila, I didn't want to let Wes tell you about my wonderful day as a princess, he would probably mess it up (you know how boys are), so I'll tell you about it.  Saturday we were invited to a Princess Lunch at the Melting Pot.  What a great idea!  We got to dress up as princesses, cook our own food and see a real live Fondue Princess!  Although it took a little long since we had to cook our food, we were good princesses!  Looking forward to doing it again.

We went with Princess Anna and her mommy Princess Ashley

Mmmmm Cheese!!

The Fondue Princess, she was beautiful!

After a we dipped our brownies, cake, strawberries, bananas, etc.  in a pot of chocolate we had a little energy and were being very silly outside.

Grandparents Day

Friday was grandparents day at school.  For the past few weeks we have been slaving away making art  for Grandparents Day and for a small fee they were able to buy them and take them home... Wonder if I will see those profits?  Anyway we had a great time, I love when I have guests at school.  I was a little sad to see them go.

 My self-portrait

My grandparents!  I love these people.

Our Weekend

We had a pretty busy weekend.  Friday night we went eat pizza with Grammy and MawMaw Ritzmann.  Saturday Mommy took us to the zoo which she is still complaining about, so much whining about her back because she had to pull Eila in the wagon??  Daddy went to school and did a few service hours.  Saturday afternoon Paw Paw E cooked burgers and we had Dad's first Birthday Celebration!  Saturday night we had quite a storm which was great for me because after church I got to play in the lake in our back yard!

Here's a few pics of the hail from the storm Saturday night.

Playing in the lake that the storm left us, what a great Sunday afternoon. Yes, I am in my underwear.. my clothes got wet!

Happy Birthday to the BEST Daddy!

Happy Birthday to the BEST Daddy we ever had!!!  We love you soooo much! Hope you had a great day!

We went shopping two weeks ago for Dad's present and when Mommy asked what we wanted to get him I said a whistle.  Don't ask why.. well Mommy thought I forgot, but I reminded her yesterday that we still needed to get daddy a whistle from the whistle store.  So Mommy brought us to the closest thing, the Dollar store.  Guess what they had whistles!

When Dad got home yesterday we couldn't help ourselves, we had to give him our presents!  I got him a  pack of whistles and Eila got him a pack of sunglasses!  He loved them!

Last night after we helped Mommy wrap the presents, I had to let Dad open another one.... I can't help myself!  (yes that is Christmas wrapping paper, the slacker known as Mom forgot the get Birthday one)

We had to wait until today for him to open his other presents

After a home cooked meal of hot dogs and canned chili, we put the icing on Dad's cake.

Eila is adding the candles and I am making sure the icing isn't bad.

Yummy!! WE LOVE YOU DADDY!

Question Overload???

OK, I need to know is it possible to reach a question limit?  Mommy said me and Eila reached ours for the day??? Is that possible? I mean, we have things we need to know!!!
For example.... there was a pink sweater on Mommy and Daddy's bed, I asked "Mommy who is this for?" she kindly answered "it's for Mommy", then I asked "who's mommy?"  A completely valid question right?  Couldn't someone's else's Mommy have a sweater just like this?
She also tried saying "I don't know" to EVERY question I asked thinking it would slow us down, nope, after about the 10th "I don't know" I told her she just needed to know!!

If anyone has any info on this "question limit", let me know... I think Mommy is pulling our leg.  "What's pulling our leg?"
