Abigail

We've never met Abigail, but we love her already!!! Eila met her at school and they became friends, today she ran into class with a smile on her face because she wanted to see Abigail!  I don't understand these girls, one day she hates school, the next day she loves it.  But I will say the Millard household was much more pleasant this morning getting ready for school!   Eila already asked Mommy if Abigail could come sleep this weekend?  (we never heard of her before yesterday).  Mommy said we will have to wait a while (years) before we have sleep overs.  She said that with all these kids, every night feels like a sleep over!

I am doing better with after care.  Yesterday I asked her to stay and play when she showed up to pick me up.

Mommy is now breathing a sigh of relief... she was a little concerned after last week.....we couldn't let her off too easy with this school business, plus we get more toys this way.

Eila is also in dance, she loves it.  Of course she cried a little the first day because Mommy couldn't go in.  But after about 10 seconds of class she was awesome!

Since karate didn't turn out to be my "thing", I am now signed up for soccer.. bye bye Saturday mornings!!
(not that we let Mommy and Daddy sleep past 6 anyway!)

Caleb has decided that 10 minutes is all he needs to sleep when Mommy is trying to get things done around the house... She is soooo disappointed that she can't clean the house!

All good things come to an end...

Well since our last post, things went down hill a bit.  Eila decided that she didn't like school, then she decided she really didn't like school.  Tuesday of last week, she cried right  before nap time, Wednesday and Thursday she cried all day.. not screaming crying but just sad and teary eyed all day.  She missed Mommy... Friday was a better day, she cried when Mommy dropped her off but didn't cry all day!  She even got a certificate for not crying.  This morning Daddy took her and she cried but walked into the classroom on her own. (they had to peel her from Mommy last week)!  So we are hopeful that things will get better.

I on the other hand love school, but I do not love after care.. yet.  I asked Mommy when she picked me up why she forgot about me?? Pile on the guilt!
I did learn a whole lot about frogs last week and I love telling everyone about them.

Caleb is doing great!  He is getting a little chunky!  He is smiling so much more.

Speaking of guilt... Mommy is going back to work next week :(  which means Caleb will be going to daycare.  It's not going to be pretty....

First Day of School

Yesterday I started Pre-K 4 and Eila started Pre-K3 and we both did great!  Not one tear!  There was a little persuading and a lot of bribery, but hey.. it worked.  So not only did we get to have fun at school, we each got a new toy and we got to go to Yogurtland for ice cream with sprinkles!!

My teacher this year is Miss Amanda and Mrs. Allison is our aide.  Eila has Mrs. Leigh, Miss Lindsey, Miss Nita, Mrs. Rhonda and Mrs Robin... It takes a village to watch the 3 year olds :)

I did see Eila at the cafeteria and I even waved to her.  She was happy to see me.

Up, up, up.. gotta get ready... no time to play.

Quick practice of her ballet moves before school!  (Dance hasn't even started yet, these are just the moves she learned from Max and Ruby)

Enough pictures MOM!!

In my classroom!

Eila in her classroom

Our work from the first day

This was the second day.. It was picture day so Eila had to wear her dress

Aww, so cute

Weekend

Finally got to go out side Saturday after church, it's been so hot lately that we don't play out there often. And yep, our parents have taken us all to church the last two weekends and someone has stopped us after each mass to tell them how great we behave!  Mommy was proud, but she still says we have to work on our talking.  Saturday morning Uncle Steven took me fishing! I caught about 5-6, it was so fun and of course I didn't want to go home.. Sunday we spent most of the day playing at Anna's house.  I don't know who likes it more, us or Mommy and Mrs. Ashley.  They get to sit around talking while we entertain ourselves.  It's win win for everyone!

Bike riding after church

Caleb chillin outside... nuppie and an iPhone, that's all you need!

No, she couldn't be Cinderella in church, but she changed back into her gown as soon as we got home!

Caleb woke up in a great mood Sunday and Mommy was able to get a few shots of him smiling.  He even smiled at Daddy this afternoon.. he must really be in a good mood!

Toys!

All is well at the Millards!  Caleb has been only eating once at night so Mommy is a much happier camper these days.  Caleb woke her up a little earlier than normal this morning, but smiled for the first time shortly after that so all was forgiven.   He has been also playing a little with his toys so she doesn't have to hold him all day!

Mommy is getting brave, she ventured out today and took all three of us to SAMs by herself.  We did great!
Eila's on a new kick to get a white kitty... if any one has a white kitty, DO NOT GIVE IT TO US!! She seems ok with the pretend one... We have to take it everywhere, the store, the pool, etc...
We had a tragedy this week....The fishy went to see his "mommy and daddy", or some might say he went to fishy heaven...  The house just isn't the same with out him..

Look, Eilas Barbie has the same chair as Caleb!

Cutie!

Being silly for Mommy

A dancing witch?  Everyday Eila either has a princess dress or an old costume on... Dance starts in 2 weeks!

We love all these new toys.  We get to teach Caleb all about them.. He is never, ever alone!

Mommy's boys :)

Testing it out

He loves to watch this go round and round... I don't see the fun in that??

That's a good sleep, Mommy is very jealous

He's not a big fan of the swing, but there was this one time.... Eila likes to swing her babies on it so it's not a total waste.
