Another Kid that won't be able to play sports!

It's been a ROUGH week. Last Friday, Caleb started with a little runny nose and a cough. By Saturday night, Daddy had to bring him to After Hours Doctor because he was wheezing and breathing really fast. They treated him there and monitored him until they closed. Then Daddy had to bring him to the ER to continue monitoring.. at 5 am they were able to come home. He was diagnosed with bronchilitis which can lead to wheezing. He was a little better during the week but never could get his breathing completely normal or get rid of his congestion. Thursday, he started with a little fever and by mid night his fever shot up and his breathing was really fast again.
When Mommy got to the ER his temp was 104 and he was breathing 70 breaths per minute. Average for his age is upper 20's... After X-rays it was determined he had pneumonia, so they admitted him to the hospital. With lots of antibiotics and extra oxygen, he is on the road to recovery.

They spent one night at the hospital and we had a sleep over with Grammy. We were able to visit him on Saturday and since he had all his tubes disconnected we were able to go play in the big playroom at the hospital. They came home Saturday around 5.

Christmas Recap

The last day of school we had our Christmas program for the WHOLE school. Nothing like preparing for 500 people and 1200 showing up!! Let's just say it was a little crowded and we parked 1 mile away. But we had fun and it didn't last too long (Caleb came too!)
