Hurricane Ida

Yesterday hurricane Ida headed towards Louisiana

We we woke up Sunday morning the wind speed had jumped up to 150 mph so we decided to ride out the storm at Aunt Resa’s. She was farther away and she had a whole house generator.

Luckily Ida moved more east and we got to play outside all day.

We had a few limbs and no power when we got home this morning but within an hour it was back on.

Braces

So Eila did a thing today!

She has an expander to widen the top of her mouth. And mom and dad have to turn it every night to make it expand. 😳

The wires and remaining brackets will come soon.
Here’s to the next 24-28 months of metal and rubber bands

Goodbye NC, Hello Atlanta

We stopped by Roaring Fork on the way, we planned on sliding down but the water flow was too much.
But we got to see other fall and we didn’t have to hike to get there.

We stayed at our cousins and never wanted to leave. Parents barely heard from us!   They even came play with us!

We headed home July 4th
