I'm already getting spoiled!

Here are the rest of my Christmas presents. Thank you everyone!

Aunt Nikki, Uncle Harris and Max

Grandma and Grandpa Millard

Uncle Scott and Aunt Emily

And me and Daddy's favorite. (It's an autographed picture of Uncle Jim, for those of you who didn't recognize him with hair!)

Don't worry, Peanut wasn't left out.

Ready for Hunting Season!

Hunting season starts about 5 months after I am born and whether I am a boy or girl, I'm not getting left behind! I even have a camo nupie. (I wonder if my playpen will fit in the deer stand?) Thanks Aunt Leslie and Grandma and Grandpa Millard.

I'm so torn!

It's already starting... Nana and Pawpaw Meche and Aunt Nikki and Uncle Harris bought me ULL clothes and Aunt Edana bought me this LSU bib. Mommy thinks red will be my color, but she knows I will look cute in anything I wear (even purple and gold)!

Will I be Lil Gerald or Lil Geraldine?

Ok, Mommy finally figured out how to make a poll for our blog. Now you can cast your vote to see if I am going to be a little boy or a little girl. In about 150 days (hopefully) everyone will find out if they were right. For those who don't get to see Mommy and would like to know how she is "carrying" so they can make their prediction, she is carring everywhere! Her butt and belly are growing at the same pace and out as much as wide.
For a little update on me, I went to the doctor last week, I am doing good. My heartbeat is 155. I was playing hard to get with Dr. Lee, she had to keep moving the mic around and chase me to get my heartbeat. We go back on Jan. 21 for my first picture (sonogram).
We are gearing up for Christmas, Mommy is getting a new camera from Daddy so I'm sure we will have plenty of pics to post. Maybe there will be a few of me and not so many of Peanut.
Oh, and for those of you worried about the title to this post, rest at ease, Mommy has promised me that I won't be named Gerald or Geraldine, sorry Daddy. She has also promised that I won't be named Earl or Earline, even if I am born on Grandpa (Millards) birthday, sorry Grandpa, I know you had your heart set on it.
We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Snow Day!!

What an interesting week. We had a few inches of snow and Mommy got a day off of work! How exciting. We went outside for a few minutes and it was very pretty, but me and Mommy decided it was just as pretty from inside the house. We have put up a few pictures of the house with snow on it. We probably won't see that again for a while.
That same day, Mommy felt me moving. She said I feel like Alka Seltzer, whatever that means. But her and Daddy were pretty excited about it.
I now weigh about as much as a turnip (5 oz) and I am 5 inches long head to bottom. I'll be kicking her soon enough.
Well as you can see, all we needed was Daddy to get Peanut to smile for Mommy.
I have great news to report Cousin Bella was born Wednesday. We can't wait to meet her.
Not much going on, just getting ready for Christmas!

My Big Brother

I just wanted to introduce everyone to my Big Brother Peanut. Me and Mommy have spent most of the afternoon and almost a whole bag of Cheetos trying to get Peanut to sit and smile with his Santa outfit. As you can see, we were not very successful. We will try again when Daddy is here.
Mommy hopes I cooperate better when she dresses me up in crazy costumes for her Christmas cards. With enough Cheetos I just might.
Mommy calls Peanut a beagle, but he weighs 50 pounds and is a lot larger than the average beagle. I don't think Peanut is too anxious to meet me. He has to go get his teeth cleaned and he is getting a gate in the truck so he won't be able to come in the front. He is not very happy. He also likes to sit on Mommy's lap and there won't be enough room for both of us.
I am just starting to get my hearing and Peanut is very loud and likes to bark alot! (Which is better than listening to Mommy sing "Islands in the Steam" in the car!) She read somewhere that it is good for her to sing to me, but I beg to differ.
We made it through Thanksgiving. I think me and Mommy tried everything there was and we could not find anything we didn't like.
We did have one upsetting day. Me, Mommy and Aunt Emily lost in Trivia Pursit (easy version) to Daddy and Uncle Joel. It was very close and Mommy is not completely convinced they didn't cheat.
I found out I am going to have a new Aunt! Uncle Jordan proposed to Kayla. We are so excited! Congratulations you two.
Mommy has started decorating for Christmas. We are finished inside, but she has to con Daddy into putting up lights on the outside of the house.
Daddy shot a doe last Wednesday. Mommy didn't have her camera with her. Hopefully she will have it when he shoots that big buck!
Well that's about all for today, we will post Peanuts picture when (if) we get a good one.

Well I am back. I know it's been a while, everyone has been fussing at me and mom so I will let yall know what has been going on.
Mommy has been sick for the past week so we have been laid up for a few days.

Mommy and Daddy got to hear my heartbeat again. It is still 160. Dr. Lee said she could hear me moving around.

I am 15 weeks old and about the size of an apple (4" & 2.5 oz.). Mommy hasn't felt me move yet, but she is anxious.

Me and Mommy went to our first ever LSU tailgating/football game yesterday. They lost to Ole Miss, but we had a good time anyway. It was a good day, Daddy got to watch football and Mommy got to eat a lot!
Mommy even bought an LSU sweatshirt! (She didn't have many that fit her belly). I think she's softening up and might even let me wear a little purple and gold when I get here, we will see.

Hunting season has started and Daddy is working hard to feed the family, he got a few ducks but no big deer. The doctor told Mommy it wasn't a good idea for her to go, so she will have to wait until next year. She couldn't stay very long in a deer stand without having to pee anyway.

We are gearing up for the holidays. We are going to Uncle Carl and Aunt Nancy's on Thanksgiving Day and Nana and PawPaw Meche's that night. We can't wait to see everyone.

I now have a new cousin, Brody. Congratulations Amanda and David! We can't wait to see you.

I should have another cousin soon, Aunt Steph is due in a few weeks, we hope everything goes well!

My First Vacation

Here's a picture of Me, Daddy & Mommy at the Biltmore.

Our vacation was great! We saw a lot of elk, mountains and all of the pretty leaves changing colors. Mommy did OK, she didn't get sick but she had to go to the bathroom every 2 hours! Maybe getting that large cherry limeade before we left wasn' the best idea! Mommy and Daddy got to spend a lot of quality time together, Daddy said the best part of the ride was when Mommy was sleeping!

Mommy and Daddy celebrated their 1 year anniversary Sunday. Who would have thought they made it this long!

Mommy, Daddy and Nana (Meche) got to hear my heartbeat today. It was 160 (which is normal), and sounds like a train in Mommy's belly.

I am now 1 1/2" long, about the size of a fig.

My New Ride

It looks like my blog was a success. Everyone seemed to like it. Thanks Aunt Step for making Mommy become so computer savvy.

A lot has happened this week:

Uncle Steven informed Mommy what "blog" means in french or should I say coonass. Let's just say that if I am a little girl, Mommy doesn't want me to know about this part of the body until I am married!

Mommy hasn't thrown up in a 7 days! Yea! Now she can gain more weight faster.
She has even cooked twice this week. She hasn't been able to do that since she found out about me.

I have been busy growing this week. I've gone from the size of a bean to a grape.

I got a new wheels this week. An Explorer. Daddy wanted me to have a mini van, I sure am glad Mommy wears the pants in this house. It's nice and roomy for me, Peanut, and all of my toys.

I want to give a shout out to Uncle Scott and Aunt Emily for giving me furniture for my room. I can't wait to try it out.

After such a busy week, I can't wait for vacation. We leave Monday, I'll let you know all about it when we get back and how many times Mommy has to stop.

Lil Millard

Well I did it! My first blog. Hard to believe a few months ago I had no idea what a blog was!

Here's the report of our little bundle of joy!

I am growing from the size of a blueberry to the size of a kidney bean this week. Mommy wishes they were refer to me as fruit again, the thought of beans these days makes her nauseated.

Mommy has her good days and bad days. Mostly bad days lately but hopefully that will change soon. Somehow, her belly (and butt) are still growing, I guess she's keeping something down.

I will be called Lil Millard until May 22, since Mommy and Daddy probably won't find out what I am early. Aunt Nikki is really mad about this.

It seems I will have lots of friends when I get out. Mommy's cousin Melissa is due a few days before me, and Daddy's best man Mr. Scott and his wife Mrs. Ashley are due four days after me!

I go back to the doctor October 28 so that Mommy and Daddy can hear my heart beat.

I'm going on my first vacation in two weeks, Asheville, NC, I guess Mommy's wine tasting at the Biltimore is out, maybe next time. It should be quite an adventure, Mommy got sick in the car before I came around. Daddy will probably take a lot of deep breaths on that 12 hour journey.
