Bright Ideas!!

Today Mommy had a dentist appointment and thought it would be a good idea to take me with the slight chance I would let them look at my teeth. She should have been tipped off when they did a test run. Daddy asked me to see my teeth and I took off running out the room... Most people would have seen a light bulb go off there, not my parents. Any way, Mommy stopped at Aunt Trudy's to pick me up (hoping Eila would be sleeping, no chance) and Eila threw a fit when we were leaving so Mommy's bright idea was "I'll take both of them, how bad can it be". We get to Dr. D's and I immediately love the two beautiful ladies who want to color with me. Mommy even left me in the front and I didn't even know she was gone. My little sister on the other hand was not as excited to see anyone... Mommy gave her the iPhone, a sure thing when it comes to entertaining Eila, and she was fine. Mommy sat her on her lap and as they lowered the chair Eila started to cry. And she cried until they finished. The ladies tried every trick in the book to get Eila to stop crying, but they were unsuccessful. Dr. D was really great about it, he said I have three kids, I don't mind the crying if you don't. Mommy told him we really didn't have any other choice at this point. Did I mention that I was still being a perfect angel at this point! Once Mommy was done she asked if I would let Dr. D look at my teeth, and of course I ran out the room, just like I did this morning.

Mommy was a trooper and didn't stress. There were no other patients and everyone there had kids, so this was nothing shocking for them!

One good thing is that even though Eila cried for 30 minutes, she didn't throw up! Which Mommy is very grateful for. (We did have a pile of paper towels on hand in case this happened).

Mommy has a broke filling and has to go back in two weeks, Dr. D politely suggested that Mommy not bring us that day!

Mommy said that Eila is not allowed back at the dentist for a while, but I can go back any time!! Hey, Wait a minute......
